"Yes but it's OK to have the Keys and Apps everyone is talking about stored in a SIM module controlled by the MNO or in a Google Embedded Secure Element, or in a SD micro card controlled by the Banks or Apple controlling the entire Apple eco system and that some how is ok? They can and do track all that you do and sell the info to other companies.

Of course the NSA and any nation state (Chinese or otherwise) could not or would not ever think of compromising those systems.

Makes me think those that have something to hide are very nervous about such things.

Don't tell me the bean counters have something to hideSmile"

....

pathetic insinuations aside, at least dreamer is trying to conduct an argument. awk obviously could not.

but dreamer does prove why the techie wavoids hide on the dot. if they don't have some chip or program in mind, they are not big on thinking very hard.

so what is the argument? it's the argument of a person without discernible values. so he cannot understand those who have them.

that because someone values privacy, they must have some nefarious secret. rather than actually thinking privacy is worthwhile for everyone.

oh yay. persuasive. let's not have privacy after all. let's have no attorney-client privilege. let's not have journalism that challenges government misdirection. let's share conversations with our loved ones with nsa listeners.

that because other devices do things people don't like ("They can and do track all that you do and sell the info to other companies"), we should be okay with doing the same things with trusted pcs.

huzzah. let's do more of what we despise in others. let's screw users just like apple and track them like google. that's so great.

morality-wise, i guess just because dreamer is (or may be) a loan shark, we should be okay if others perform the same service. indeed, that all banks should lend at usurious rates.

golly.

then he goes on to argue the exact opposite of his claims on this board in which he told us the security is not adequate to defeat nsa or chinese decryption processes.

perhaps because now he realises the position he has put himself in. and it is embarrassing. selling security chips to the dod which the chinese can decrypt. how absurd can you get?

or is he uselessly trying to suggest that while having the capability, the chinese will politely refrain from spying. or that the nsa will also do so.

what a chump. spying is exactly what they are doing now and will continue to do.

at least just admit you only care about the money and quit pretending you have an ounce of principle.
