I'm not opposed to trade schools as long as they're not ripping people off with phoney programs designed to just make a profit for the schools. College still has its place but you need to specialize in something that is marketable that you like. Tough choices in this new world that we all live in. Wouldn't want to be starting out today but, then again, if I were twenty four again I wouldn't know any better and would be full of pee and vinegar. My Alma mater just enrolled their biggest freshman class in twenty years the other day.

College changes you and is a growth process. I wouldn't trade my liberal arts degree and the friends that I made there for much of anything.

Regards,

Joe

Hi wil,

We need more trade schools!
Many kids don't belong in college, at least not right out of high school.
Their parents & they go into hock & have nothing to fall back on.

Learn a trade, folks need plumbers, electricians, beauticians, court stenographers, etc.

With a trade, they can still go to college, slower, but without the high debt & no guarantees & still thrive.

'College' is becoming more like glorified high school that many are getting rich off of, and those are NOT the students.
