Having only see RR clips I was going to pass on it... Thanks for the heads up!

The better half is still in recovery mode, so it may have to be a while.. But noted...

'The Butler' *****

What a movie, spans from President Eisenhower to President Obama!

Civil Rights, The Vietnam War, Martin Luther King, The Black Panthers, The Freedom Fighters.

Watching the brutality & inhumane treatment towards our own people hurts to the core.
And the courage of some people, Black & White. Along with the help of some brave politicians, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson.

The Butler's relationship with his oldest son had a lot of friction. The son didn't want to sit in the 'Colored sections' of life, the father had learned to survive during a time a Black man could be killed just because....

While still working in the White House, The Butler realized Reagan's behavior had set back minorities & his stance on Apartheid was too much for him to swallow.

I don't want to give too much away, SEE IT for yourself. I expect this to win awards.
Every actor played their role well!
