maybe of interest to any other tech minded folk out there...

And an Interesting App, below, I had ordered the $19 ELM 327 WiFi OBDII reader unit earlier, it came today, I looked at the $50 Dash Command, but ended up with Engine Link for $5 instead, it does what I wanted, read the Check Engine codes, even reset if wanted... My P0308 code tells me #8 is misfiring, a problem I thought we fixed last year... Plug or Coil is the tossup... ('06 F150)

BTW the ELM 327 isn't limited to this vehicle, there are Custom PIDs to choose from, I found one for the Ford 2200 series, made little digital readouts for each cyl's misfire count, Total misfires, quite a range of data available..
