gerrymandering has been going on for ages and both parties participate. I live in a district that was 'gerrymandered' to put more black voters in a district so as to insure diversity in the congress.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

...and if that means that minorities feel that they are being disproportionately under-represented, well that's just tuff. If they would simply start voting for Republicans instead, perhaps something could be done to solve that problem:
