The battle continues... No mortgage for years, inlaws as well, kids, still either renting or decent mortgages.. But Student loans, so far we're able to keep the grandkids away from any, but niece/nephew did run it up a ways, but all are working, good jobs, promotions, so it paid off, doing what they love... Next level is coming up, will also have full family support.. Big difference from my time, but we're sure happy we can help them over the hump...
Amazing how fast these kids are growing up..
On another branch however, the apparent Christian side, a string of religious schools, degrees that are not transferrable to any other institution, so they end up as 'Student Advisors" back at the schools that left them with no other options... Dead ends.... All you do is shake your head, wish 'em well..
