Student Shot in Gun Safety Class

And today we learned to always check to see if the gun is loaded. A gun safety instructor accidentally shot his student in the arm during a class in Ohio. Instructor Terry Dunlap Sr. was demonstrating how to use a handgun when he accidentally fired a .38-caliber round, which ricocheted off a desk and hit a student, who was rushed to a nearby hospital and released the same day. â€œI am thankful that it only ended up being in my arm, and didnâ€™t hit my wife or individuals sitting at the desk behind me,â€ said the student.
