"We’re not here to help to facilitate inappropriate secured communications."

So presumably TPMs have a winnowing system so they can tell which communications are appropriately secured and which are not.

Doh.

I know the name of the winnowing system. It is called NSA.

Hey, at least SS was honest.

But this isn't privacy. From a USG viewpoint, this is more about surveillance with secured identity.

CF, it appears SKS is confirming your fear of the back door. SKS from the CC "And Wave has focused on building tools that enables secured communications but in a safe manner. We’re not here to help to facilitate inappropriate secured communications. These are still communications where keys are essentially archived so. If I want to subpoena somebody’s communications, it can." As an aside this guy, for an Ivy league grad, has the absolute worst written and verbal skills I've ever come across. I'm not good but he makes me look like a super nova.
