Joe:

I'm having an off year with my investments. Other accounts that I am privy to also seem to be performing only marginally while the U.S. markets soar. Still others exited the stock market after the recession hit out of fear and insecurity having been burnt twice. Bank savings accounts have really been spiffy as a substitute, as has home ownership. For many, the past thirteen years haven't been pretty. Dreams of a prosperous retirement down the toilet.

We need a strong lower (much lower) middle class dependent on the government. This will make the lower class feel like they have closed the gap.

KTC,

You need to wait a little longer to jump into the market and execute your buy high and sell low strategy! Or, as Ribit would put it: tee, hee, hee!
