If it were up to us (our division) we would prefer Siegfried Russwurm since he's closer to what we do and has extensive understanding of software and how it can be applied in the traditional businesses of Siemens. However, he's a bit younger than either the current CEO, Peter Löscher, or the CFO, Joe Kaeser, who currently looks like the leading candidate for the job. He also hasn't been with the company as long, 21 years versus 33 for Kaeser.
