In their determination and panic to pass healthcare at any cost while they held a majority in Congress, they refused to learn the lessons from Hillarycare way back in 1993. Obamacare is a perfect example of nicey-nice amateurs in action.
Perhaps it's time to revisit a true single-payer system...
Think of all the stories about companies reducing the hours of their workers so that they no longer were considered full time employees. Think of the pension plans with their overextended health obligations, one example being the USPS with their 75 years of prepaid medical. Think of all those Red states trying to avoid taking responsibility for their poor and underinsured. Or a situation LIKE Detroit and dozens of other cities where their health care obligations are bankrupting them.
