Hi Clo: Thought you might like it.

I lived in Kingston and Poughkeepsie simultaneously for a short time. I got drunk in Hudson and almost lost my job. Spent most of my social time in NYC and the Catskill hotels and Monticello race track. Being single was great until it got tiresome.

That's a terrific article, thanks for posting!

Cold Spring is a favorite of mine. Great to stroll & visit antique & art stores and clothes stores too.

Eating at the Hudson House Inn, you can see West Point across the Hudson River. And after dinner, walk to river & sit on a bench. At times they offer music under the gazebo.
