And I wouldn't expect that they'll be giving him a big 'severance' package as that's not how European companies, and certainly not Siemens, works (for example, they sued their last two CEO's for something close to $5 million each).
This comes as a surprise since Peter Loescher seemed to be doing OK, however he was NOT German. It will be interesting to see what sort of internal notice we (as a Siemens employee) will be getting later this weekend (I just checked my company mail and nothing yet).
