Seems several of them are emigrating in every direction these last few days, and then copping an attitude in the worlds to which they have moved.
Like they are each gripped by the same infection. The one that makes you contemptuous of that with which you disagree.
Like they have grounds to feel superior or something.
It's what they seem to do when they think they have access to a secret - a secret that operates like a Wave investor concealed carry permit in a Florida housing compound.
And there we were walking home armed only with a sceptic's bag of skittles.
Perhaps they think a $30m order or two is coming - as if the crack pipe gives a person the power of the righteous and the privilege to dispense with all civility. Bang! You're dead, motherf-r.
Or perhaps these poor folks hope the failure of their continuous certainties can be extinguished in an instant. But there is no claim of prescience to be won after decades of misdirection. So there can be no bragadoccio. Demand always rules, whether it passes or purchases.
Rather, learn humility in the face of providence. If you can admit the world's power to know its own path regardless of your wishes, then at least you have won yourself some wisdom.
At any rate.
When is still the question. And no one knows the answer.
