On CNBC, Rick Santelli just claimed that Obama has failed to keep his promise to reduce the deficit. He claims that in fact the deficit has only gone UP since Obama took office.

Apparently he too needs to pay more attention to what's really happening out there:

I honestly think Santelli has totally lost all perspective with respect to the real world since his claim to have launched the 'Tea Party' movement.
