...you can compare a democracy with a constitutional republic, but they are not the same. In a democracy the will of the majority prevails. If the majority wants to own slaves, then the minority is the slaves. In a constitutional republic, even the majority cannot own slaves because the constitution puts constraints on the will of the majority in order to protect the minority. You should have learned that in about the tenth grade if ya ever got that far.

We don't think that you can compare "on the menu today" with "we the people", but, then, you can do about anything that you please, and usually do!!!!!
