...after all, it appears that while the media is saying that Zimmerman had the RIGHT to stand his ground, Trayvon Martin did not. Why is that? Was he not also in fear of his life? Or is the guy with the gun always given the benefit of the doubt simply because he's the only one left to tell the story?

BTW, it's been reported that dozens of gang killings have been prevented from even being prosecuted in Florida simply because the defendants are now invoking their rights under the 'stand your ground' law. After all, who could argue that if two rival gang members meet on the street that the guy left standing didn't at some point have a reasonable fear for his life? The same thing is happening when a drug deal goes bad and someone ends up dead.
