And I can say something more specific than that, now that I'm remembering. It was suggested it's a Fermi vs. Kepler thing, 7 using CUDA which NVidia Kepler cards take advantage of. My older cards are Fermi.
BAP, I said that mine don't seem to have the firepower to handle the larger WU's that advanced garners, and that mine are older cards. It runs, just to the tune of less than half the points.
