Glad to hear it, Sun! I don't think anybody thought to mention, you need to do a re-start, at least of folding, so that it takes effect with the next WU. From a mod over at the forums:

"And yes, the folding core needs to be restarted to change the settings it uses. Otherwise they will be used by the next WU. However, making changes in the middle of a WU can sometimes cause it to fail. This is less common than it was, but does still happen."

Hey guys,

Just checking in to say I got Hollywood switched over - at least with the client type thing for the GPU folding. I didn't do anything on the cores yet - I want to do some checking and see if I'm 4-cores or looking like 8 cores - I know it's a quad core - just not sure if she's hyperthreading or anything.

I got the client-type added to both Dreamer and Kitt just a few minutes ago - we'll see what effect it has on them - so far, I'm seeing at least a tad bit of difference in Hollywood so far. ;-)

Will keep you all posted.

Sun :-)
