hi tkc,

i wasn't ignoring your post. life happens! also it wasn't the sort of post i can answer quickly. sometimes i digest things.

but also, when i read it, i didn't see it as in contrast to mine so much.

Hi CF, I'm a little disappointed you didn't respond to this post. I'm confident it wasn't out of concern for my ego. By now you know I'm no wacked out liberal. I concede you're a very bright well informed person and respect your views. You were persausive in advocating for more stimulous when I felt a little reserve in Gov't spending was good. Certainly I'd agree w/ an infrastructure spending program to increase employment and stimulate the economy is a good idea. "Middle of the road" me believes both are required. I have no problem w/ reducing the spending on many many gov't funded programs. We agree on a whole bunch of stuff; you're much better in your ability to advocate and support your argument. I have a real problem w/ food stamp recipients receiving cash w/ which to cross the street and buy booze or smokes which I see all the time. I hate the "free lunch" program, require the kids pay a nickle, anything. If parents can't be responsible enough to provide the nickle-sick social services on them. Just simple stuff that does't inculcate dependency. Okay, I'm done. Thx as always
