ArVee,

I'll experiment a little with it. Hollywood and Dreamer both have i7 processors, I'll have to check Baby Blue - she might be an i7 - can't remember on her. I know that Kitt is not.

Hi NewSun --

The instructions that BAP provided are sound but they're for a system without that config already and you said you think you've done it already and I sense you just want to check. (and in ANY case you don't want to do anything beyond the first step unless you're running eight cores as BAP effectively is with multi-threading. I think you've just got normal quads. If you've got an i7 or are somehow running more than 4 cores go ahead and do it.)

To check if you've got what I still think of as the old advanced flag: Configure - Slots - then at the bottom of that page there should be Add, Remove and Edit boxes. Click the Edit one and see if at the bottom under the Extra slot Options there is indeed the client-type £ advanced entry (ignore my British pound sign, it's just a divider). If there's no Edit box to click, follow the instructions in Step 1 in BAP's link.

If it's indeed still there, you should have been getting more than 8054 and 8074's and the odd 14000-pointer lately unless the server's out of advanced WU's which only happens periodically. I know when I added the flag, the next WU I rec'd was a 890x or 7181 I think is another one. It's just that I don't have the horses on my machines on which I've installed 7 to run them at a premium to what I get now. I'm thinking it's gtx660's and up that can feat on them. btw 7 now handles AMD/Radeon cards, regardless of the stuff above.

Sorry this is lengthy, 7 is complex although once configured, runs quite nicely.

Bonne Chance!
