...the only way I can think of that ya could get electrocuted by a cellphone while it is charging is if ya answered it whilst ya was sittin in the bath tub or something like that. Had to be more than just answering the phone while it was charging.

Apple Investigating iPhone Electrocution

Did a woman in China get electrocuted by her charging iPhone? Apple says it will “fully investigate” reports that a 23-year-old flight attendant was killed by her iPhone, as her family claims. Ma Ailun’s older sister posted a message online Thursday that Ma was electrocuted when she answered her phone while it was charging. Police say they are investigating her death but haven’t confirmed the phone was the cause. "We are deeply saddened to learn of this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the Ma family," Apple said in a statement.
