Is that with one of our fave 14000-ptrs., Micro? They run hotter than the 8054's and 8074's (or 2's, whatever they are). And is that in the ex-5xx slot that was giving you grief? I seem to be blanking on numbers at the moment Confused

Using a GTX 460 that is hotter than a firecracker!

At stock it is in the mid 80's. That is with the fan turned on at 95 percent.

WOWSER!!!!

I have since scaled it back to fold at 80 percent. Now temps are in mid 70's. Still hot.

I am reading good things about a GTX 760.

Faster than GTX 660 Ti's and for only $250.00

They run cool and use less power. The Gigabyte in particular gets very good reviews for coolness.

May give that a try after I get a few things settled first.
