I'd like to see it repealed also, that won't occur.
Florida is a Southern state.

If Z didn't have a legal conceal gun permit & only had pepper spray, I bet he would have waited in his car for the police.

There would be no issue in your scenario or mine.

Unlike many Z supporters, I don't see this case as a justification for carrying firearms or the stand your ground law.

Indeed, while seeing Z as acting within the scope of the current law, I think the opposite. Stand your ground is an abomination.

And the Z and M situation shows why the law is an ass.

If the law prevented Z from carrying a gun but permitted him to carry pepper spray, there would be no issue here.
