International students make up 70 percent of the full-time electrical engineering graduate students in the United States, 63 percent of those in computer science, and more than half in industrial engineering, economics, chemical engineering, materials engineering and mechanical engineering, according to a new report by the National Foundation for American Policy. The report said the American economy would benefit from welcoming such students and allowing them to remain in the United States when they complete their studies.
