Good help is hard to find... Get 'em young, train 'em well...

Inlaw has two sone, elder just not interested, hated the work back when they were starting, has a moderate job, is satisfied to stay there, get in his golf time.. Younger son went off the rails, party time, drugs, arrests, lost vehicles, license, but oh the story, like he's going to business school, ready to take over.. Nope, never happen, too musch meth, pacemaker, so the prison system bounces him right away, round and round.. Zero trust...

So if you do have trustworthy, willing folks, a huge help... But likely more headaches as well... Need local real estate management folks.. Outsource it! Hire Clo!

It's a horror show!!! Fortunately he has managers for each area or property, but that doesn't come close to running the damn thing. Many don't require mortgage payments because the banks don't want the properties. Many are under water.

My son has volunteered to take them over but he's busy and doesn't understand what he would be getting into. He doesn't have the calm temperment needed to deal with this stuff. I don't want him pulling a Zimmerman because he finds tenants barbequing chickens in the living room.

My twins are helping with the paperwork, which is good for me and great for them.
