There are a lot of similar videos floating around Youtube. Most drivers will produce ID when asked, and I don't see why that would be an issue. But other than that, you can withhold consent to be searched and can ask if you're free to go. You don't have to answer the question "have you been drinking?" or any other question. In this case, they never even asked him if he'd been drinking, and it was a DUI checkpoint!! If you do answer, the only correct response is "No".* You don't have to roll down your window anymore than it takes to talk to the cop and hand him your license. Other than that, there's not much they can force you to do. The cops in this case were way out of line. Albaby might have a better answer, but I wonder if they can even force you out of the car like they did. I think the video in this case proves that the dogs were trained to give a response that the cops used as an excuse to search the car. It's also pretty damning that they turned the dashboard cam away when they figured out it was running.
* Admitting to having had one beer is the worst thing you can do. The next step after such an admission will *always* be field sobriety tests, which are designed to make you fail, followed by a breath test. Expect handcuffs and suspension of your license if you decline.
Seriously, check this video out for how to handle DUI checkpoints. I need to get one of the cards that he handed the cop. It shut the cops down before things had a chance to get out of hand.

This one is even funnier, he just gives the cops a silent stare, never produces a license and finally asks if he can go on his way. The cop knows he's been beaten and lets him go.
