Clo:

I hear you, and I don't see them changing. That's why it is so critical that Obama and the Democrats perform well so that filthy neocons and hapless wingers never gain a national majority and elect a President ever again. We must hold our peoples' feet to the fire. They are failing in many ways. I guess we'll have to learn to live as a divided nation - Not a good thing.

Primitive thinking people will always hold regessive positions towards women.

Many are unsympathetic towards the poor because they see and hear about so many who don't seem to be trying at all. There is merit in this. It's time Americans at all levels pull themselves up and try to be productive, contributing members of society, not perpetual dependent losers from childhood. Many also see our welfare system as being an exorbitantly expensive failure that seems to promote laxness and non-performance.

I've got to be frank with you, the republicans running the state senates have been attacking women's choice has me FAR more concerned. Because its HAPPENING NOW.
Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, PA, North Dakota, Wisconsin & the beat goes on....

Meanwhile, they want to cut food stamps & Head Start, programs that help poor children.

You're correct, things are changing fast!
Who would've thought Roe would be an issue in 2013???
