We enjoyed Despicable Me2, with the resident Grand daughter, a change from the Heat, from yesterday's entry... More fun, in a way as we'd seen the earlier ones, too...

Tomorrow, BBQ's and Wine Tasting in Windsor, and the area, Sonoma County Wines and dines... But the heat has let up quite a bit, tops maybe only 80ish today... Most temps down 15-30 degrees from yesterday... Better!

We'll catch up with the Lone Ranger/Tonto next week if we don't make it Sunday evening..

Actually re-watched Forest Gump last night, surprising how young everyone is, and we'd forgotten a lot of the story... Worth a watch, glimpse of the times...

It was an interesting movie and despite the title, it was almost purely a Johnny Depp vehicle. Lots of action sequences and beautiful scenery, but the idea that this was taking place in Texas, for anyone who has every traveled around the West to such places as Arizona and Utah will recognize the landmarks are NOT from Texas. Other than that, it was worth seeing, although many will say that it's a bit odd and perhaps a bit longer than it needed to be.
