...another thing. I never knew an alcoholic who didn't start on beer and I never knew a drug addict who didn't start with pot. Just an observation, not an attack on anyone.

You should re-read my post. I'm against hard drugs, and to a lesser extent, marajuana, especially after my son got hooked on cocaine many years back when living in Florida. Took him two years of living with at home with us to completely break the habit. He's been an anti-drugs crusader ever since, although he' somewhat accepting of pot. My favorite quote: "Dad, drugs steal your honor and turn you into a piece of shit."
