KTC,

We had a generation who went through the Great Depression after a decade of questionable living and morals during the Roaring Twenties. A lot of people are havinbg it pretty rough out there right now. As long as people feel that everybody pretty much is in the same boat, we think that it will be alright. There has always been a wealthy segment of society and society has pretty much protected their interests through time in this nation. Very few marriages get through without some stress anyway, and, that is the same for life.

Regards,

Joe

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

Joe:

You have to put people under stress to find out how they will respond to life. We've had it pretty easy. The stress in our society may be building to a crescendo with filthy neocon scum running things from behind the (Obama) curtain. They have wonderful things in store for us.

In my mind, all these things interreact. I guess if the easy money keeps flowing and nobody blows us up, we can afford to be nicey-nice, change traditions without bothering to think, and folks will be OK. Not sure how well we will do when things get tough.
