Hi Cactus Flower,

The two racial comments by Trayvon (White Cracker & the N word) attributed by the prosecutors witness, Rachel Jeantel, 19, came across to me like slang.

So far I have not had the opinion the prosecutor is using 'race' as an element.

The witnesses to date have made the case that Zimmerman was in pursuit, & or on top of Trayvon.

Jeantel, his friend testified over two days & repeated over 5 hours, Trayvon was trying to get away from him, even thought he had, only to realize Zimmerman was back again.
She struggled some, but held firm on the basic point, Zimmerman followed Trayvon.

I like the way the judge is controlling the courtroom.

The racism element of this story has almost entirely inverted.

The prosecution's racism case is inference based on nothing.

The defence has uncovered two incidents of racial language from the victim.

The latter is mostly irrelevant as I think this story has everything to do with a confrontation of egos and nothing to do with race.

But without the former, where's the intent?
