The guillotine was the solution to that problem, not 99 weeks of unemploment payments to pacily the people while showering money onto the scumbags who caused the recession.

Reminds me of the post-WWII GI Bill which had a host of positive features to empower discharged veterans, but also included 99 weeks of unemployment payments that delayed many of them from adjusting back into the civilian work force. It was pretty hard getting a decent job when your resume showed years of unrelated military service followed by a year of goofing off.

You mean where money was redistributed FROM the poor and the middle-class (AKA 99%) TO the very wealthy (AKA 1%):
