...ya can send a kid to Harvard for what it costs to send em to public schools. Whatever the problem is there, it's not a failure to spend enough money. Perhaps a failure to spend it wisely, but then that's what ya expect when ya try to get productivity or quality out of a unionized gubmint employee.
