D and O,

Statistically it is now true that you are far more likely to die from a traffic accident than a terrorist attack. However, if some of these radicals succeed in securing a nuclear device and setting it off in a major city, killing a million people, that will no longer be true, statistically anyway.

Regards,

Joe

should we fear the Automobile?

I didn't...until the dawn of the cell phone and texting. I am far, FAR more afraid of the automobile now than I was in years past when drunk driving was rampant.

But that's a whole 'nuther story.

But I have no doubt I am far more likely to die or sustain life changing injury at the hands of a distracted driver than I am a terrorist attack.
