GOP abandons pretense, embraces WOW
Rape is a violent crime. Old Republican white dudes are implying that boys will be boys, with all those raging hormones and sexually explicit magazines. And working women are the scourge of children learning to read and to blame for our failing education system. Meanwhile, back on Capitol Hill, an all male House subcommittee passed a bill along party lines to ban all abortions after 20 weeks everywhere in the country, including cases of rape, incest (only exception is saving the life of the mother). But Trent Franks even wants women who have been told that they have a nonviable fetus to carry that baby to term. Oftentimes a doctor cannot determine the viability of a baby until after 20 weeks. The bill will now be sent to the full committee.
Marsha Blackburn, clueless female Republican from Tennessee, says women do not actually want the law to protect them from pay discrimination; that they don't want a law giving them equal pay for equal work.
Can Republicans be any more clueless? They can and they will, over and over.
