Another look at the data shows that the now-infamous 'Reinhart-Rogoff' report, still being used by the Right as their proof that we need more spending cuts while at the some time reducing taxes further, was even more inaccurate then previously believed. In fact, they may have gotten this whole relationship between debt and economic growth completely backwards:
