Two Men Arrested on Board Plane at Stansted, U.K. Police Say

Two men have been arrested on board a passenger plane after it was diverted to Stansted Airport outside London by two Royal Air Force fighter jets, police said.
“Essex Police has boarded a passenger plane diverted to Stansted Airport and two men have been arrested on suspicion of endangerment of an aircraft,” the force said in a statement posted on its website. “ They have been removed from the plane.”
RAF jets intercepted the Pakistan International Airlines flight on its way to Manchester in northern England.
