OCU,

Once they arrive at adulthood, you are supposed to figure four years for every cat year. I figure that she's probably between eight and ninty by traditional strandards. However, she has always been young for her age and some who have been around her think that she may actually be as much as eight years younger than her age. That would put her at about ten. We had her at the vet and he said that most shorthaired cats that he has seen go out at about eighteen at the oldest. However, we have run into any number of people that we have talked cat with who have cats into their twenties. One vet we took her to stated that the oldest cat he has personally treated was twenty five. The last Guiness Book of World Records that we saw had the oldest cat on record being twenty eight.

She seems healthy and her blood work astounds the vets every time that we do it! However, we just thank God for her every day and enjoy these bonus years that we are getting. As one vet stated: she still has a lot of verv to her.

Best to you

Joe

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

What would that be in 'people' years?
