I just got one on Saturday. Took it to work and it it did not do so well.
I took it back to the store today and got the one I should have gotten first, the top rated Plantonics Voyager Legend at Best Buy.
You can get one from Amazon or NewEgg or other online stores for less.
I wanted it NOW and if it didn't work as advertised I can take it back.
So far, this device is amazing.
My wife turned the volume up very loud and I called her.
As she was speaking to me I did not once hear the television. The noise was totally cancelled out. This device is made to to do that, as well as wind noise outside.
I am hoping for the noise in my plant to be cancelled out.
This one has a longer mic boom than a standard bluetooth so it extends a little closer to your mouth. That should pick up your voice easier.
Anyway, tomorrow I will test it at work. Hopefully it will work well and I can receive calls and speak to people without fading out.
I'll report back tomorrow after the testing.
BTW, if you don;t have one and your cell phone has bluetooth on it, you should get one.
This one allows you to have voice activated commands like "answer" "end" and several others.
