Boy are the Republicans going to jump on Obama now!!!!

After all, 'acting Director of the IRS', Steve Miller is one of the holdover appointments from the George W. Bush administration. And the reason that we even have an 'acting Director of the IRS' is because Senate Republicans announced, long before this so-called 'scandal' ever came to light, that they had little or no interest in even considering approving anyone that Obama might wish to nominate to fill the permanent position of 'Director of the IRS'.

The president cut the head off of the IRS!
Well done sir.

President Barack Obama announced Wednesday that Treasury Secretary Jack Lew requested and accepted the resignation of Steven Miller, the acting director of the IRS.

Obama pledged to institute new safeguards and work with Congress in its oversight role in response to the scandal over the extra scrutiny given to conservative political groups, which Obama called "inexcusable."

While Obama said the behavior at the IRS was an "outrage, the good news is it's fixable."
