Obama and Kerry are aggressively engaging the entire world.

Libya is a minor blip. There is more to the world than the Shores of Tripoli.

Obama is leading America through a dangerous and stormy world fraught with risk but pregnant with the possibilities of peace.

Chinese American friendship and alliance might give humanity a thousand years of peace.
They well know this in the Forbidden City as they know it in Foggybottom.

Marx and Lenin and Mao have been buried on the ash heap of history.
The Chinese Dream looks suspiciously like the American one.

Diplomacy is only warfare on a different playing field.

The United States Marines can't protect every American Embassy effectively.
You can't stop some bastard pulling up in front of a building and firing mortars through the windows.
You can't stop maniacs from committing acts of war.

You can't make an American working overseas less of a target.

The world is a violent, irrational place.
Placing blame on Obama for what happened in Libya makes no sense from where I sit.
There is a sort of grand fatigue with the ongoing and never ending assault on Barack Obama.
It drains the national soul and benefits America not an iota.

This is the only President we got.
And I for one support him.

I prefer to count our successes and hope that there are more coming.
