Couple Missing From Carnival Cruise Ship
Another blemish for Carnival Cruise Lines: A couple has disappeared from the Carnival Spirit, presumably having jumped or fallen overboard at some point before the ship ended its 10-night cruise in Sydney on Thursday. Carnival has denied any chance of foul play, though the details of what exactly went down have not been made clear. Aircraft and search boats have been dispatched to search for the 30-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, who’d embarked on the trip with a group of family and friends. “This is a tragic event at the moment, but we’re holding out hope we might be able to find these people alive,” the New South Wales Police Superintendent told the AP.
