awe crap.
A person likes to stay abreast of things, and while I am sure it is everywhere ... Some really yucky things come out of Syria. Homs gave me nightmares. Real ones. Peter Clifford has a photo here: (you can skip this, I advise avoiding the content).

that is not the stuff that decent folk OR indecent folk ever want to see. A part of me sees it as staged, but knows it represents a truth.

So, the CIA is now officially training more secular components of the opposition in Jordan, and if history has shwon anything, it is the ability of the CIA to identify a secular combatant versus any other combatant is next to nil. I recognize and applaud that the current CiC has put people in place that are more cautious about transferring skills and equipment (see muhajadeen/al-aqueda - Reagan), but the folsk charged to do it have a record like SKS.
Syria is a serious sh*t pit as things currently stand, and they have a few borders: Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan. There is no cave deep enough to have not heard of these places. God only knows what would be the world today if Cheney and Bush were President today, likely we would have instituted the draft, quadrupled military spending, and cut taxes to just under 1% (cause that is how you pay for war, you cut taxes, even Cesaer knew that (@#$-%^&????)!!!
So yes, NK is certainly on the table, but the issue of the standoff between the clerical components of a nuclear Iran and the always clerical government of Israel persist, Iraq stuggles to form a stable state, Syria obviously has that not, Lebanon is durably s sht pit, and then you have these others ..Jordan, SA, UAE, Bahrain.
Imagine the Governor of Wisconsin becoming the next President, or any variety of others ... perhaps Rubio would excel, perhaps Hillary would crash and burn, perhaps perhaps perhaps.
I'm thinking, with considerable faults on the table, with a starchy old-world view, a demonstrated lack of imaginatin and so on .... I'm going with HRC ... until I see something else.
