Sun, you're right, those temps should not be a problem. From what I can see you've already done everything I'd try. The only next move I can think of is to post in the appropriate forum (FAH Hardware, I guess) at the other place. You've included all the pertinent info that they'll want, just make sure you repeat it over there, WU, times per frame, catd types, everything.

Really Sun, you've done everything right, I'm coming up blank. That thing is definitely dropping down to 2D and you've reacted with everything I'd try. It's geek time, hopefully they can help and we all learn something else.

Guys,

Hollywood, running the same 8070 work unit, averages 2 minutes 7 seconds per frame.

Kitt, running 3D, completes the 8070's at 2 minutes 20 seconds. When I come in and he's at 14 minutes and some seconds, I'm presuming he's dropped into 2D folding

Heat - 59 - 62 degrees in the 3-D folding. I did go ahead and adjust my fan curve to speed the fan up sooner at all temperatures - but I can't think that the 59-62 would be an issue? But we'll try that and see.

Sun :-)
