Micro,

I tried going back to stock speed - that didn't seem to help. I tried leaving the monitor turned on and leaving the monitor turned off in case that would make a difference. nada :-( Nothing seems to help.

I might note that I hadn't actually tweaked it up very much at all, but did try going back to stock. Didn't stop the issue.

I think you about covered it ArVee.

After I rebooted my troublesome GTX 460 and reset it to stock settings I haven;t had any more 2D clocking going on. Its running so I am afraid to start adjusting the shaders for the o.c.

It isn't broke so I ain't gonna fix it! lol!!!!

I don;t know if NewSun has tweaked her card or not for increasing the shaders but if so, I would start by being at stock settings and do a reboot without stopping the GPU folding first. Let it just stop when the computer reboots.
That is how I do it.
