Blessed Resurrection Day everyone!
This day is the foundation day of our Faith!
It is the HOPE that we hold because as HE is risen from the dead in power and in victory over death and the grave, so shall we also follow HIM with the same victory!
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory????
The Apostle Paul penned this under inspiration of the Holy Spirit to emphasize that death and the grave have no hold over those who are Christ's.
This is the foundation and basis of the Christian faith.
Because HE LIVES we also shall live with HIM.
He is the firstborn among many brethren (to follow) and HIS one sacrifice uupon the cross of Himself, and the shedding of HIS holy blood, was sufficient to pay the sin debt of every person who ever lived!
HE paid the debt. He paid it ALL because HE loved us, and gave himself for us.
There are no strings attached. If we come to Jesus just as we are, in all our sin, and all our guilt, and ask HIM to forgive us and save us, HE WILL ACCEPT US immediately and without any strings attached.
OUR name is written and recorded in the LAMB'S BOOK of LIFE and the SPirit of GOD seals us. We are kept by HIS POWER and no man is able to removeus from HIS HAND!
We are the Lord's and we shall live with HIM for all eternity in HIS Heaven!
What have done to deserve such love?????
Nothing. God loves us without us loving HIM. He died for us. He gave himself for us so that we could be with HIM forever.
The greatest gift anyone could receive today is JESUS Christ as Lord and Savior.
If you have never trusted HIM as Savior and asked HIM to forgive you and to save you, to be your Lord from this time forward, today would be a wonderful day to do so.
The Bible says NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME. TODAY is the day of SALVATION.
DOn't delay any longer. He loves you and died for you. He arose from the grave and sits on the right hand of God waiting for you.
Just bow your head and ask Jesus to forgive and come into your heart. He will not turn you away.
