Yeh! There's nothing special about U.S. citizenship. There are plenty of good-paying, menial, minimum wage, no benefit, jobs available. Our employment to population ratio is almost 60%. Less than 50% of us are on some form of public assistance. America has oodles of money and little debt. Everything is swell! Bring everybody in. Maybe we can become another Bangladesh.
Throughout our history and up until a few years ago we had a need for immigrants. More recently we had a use for some immigrants. Now we have a surplus of low-skilled immigrants, and Americans who can't compete with them.
Hey, we're all immigrants, killer! Danes, Poles, Irishers here, go for it, bring 'em all in!
One neighbor years back, a Dutch Chemist, but he worked in a SF Bakery, new recipes, great stuff... Others, big tall Chinese banker, Germans, Japanese, Vietnamese, Philippino, Ukrainian... All good folks... Great to see the mix...
