Maybe it's a West Coast thing, but Hondas have been the family favorite for many years now, other than my PU (F150), red light runner totaled my wife's V6 Accord, what a shame, leather, moon roof, great shape, but it warped the frame. Replaced it with a Civic, 4 banger, also tops, no leather, but comfy, even for my 6' 2" self... We take it on longer trips if we can, but like last weekend in Nevada I wanted the 4x4, just in case... Inlaws, relatives, some Hondas, some Lexus, Camry's, a couple Prius's, BMW's for the no kids DINKs...

Son's Camry suffered from zero maintenance, but good ol' Dad picked up the tab to bring it backup to snuff..

Some new drivers coming along, an older Ford Festiva... Looking for a couple more...

I'm still driving a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant that has nearly 130,000 miles & was totaled 8 years ago because of a tree falling on the roof.
It didn't have 50,000 miles & was in great condition other than some body damage & since the color is champagne it hardly shows.
My son was able to push out some of the roof, looks dimpled ;)

I'm going to need a new car down the road. This one has been great, had the timing belt changed when it was time & always get the oil changed. Just put new wiper blades on, the second set I've replaced & a few batteries & tires as needed. Its been a good car for me, my second Mitsubishi Galant, same color too.
