BAP,

Precision X doesn't give the option of adjusting the shaders - if I remember right - Micro is running Precision (note no X - see links below) on video cards that are 400 and 500 series - with our 600 series, we don't appear to have the option of just adjusting the shaders. I tried about 3 different GPU overclocking programs and with our 600 series cards - they all have the GPU clock off-set for over-clocking. From what I've read - Precision X was developed for the 600 series cards.

Micro and I had quite a discussion on this when I installed the 660 card and got brave enough to try overclocking it.

Sun :-)

You can scroll down to the screen shot - this one is more what Micro is seeing with Precision.

Hi micro. I'm running Precision X and don't see any voltage or shader adjustments. Are you using another measurement program?

About that slow machine. Are you running anything else? I have a laptop running Firefox. Did a Task Manager and something was running sending it up to near 100 percent usage. Not folding as it's a single processor and not worth it. I took FF down and brought it up again and cpu usage is back to low normal. Sometimes those background advertisements take up cycles. Don't know.
